Hanover is looking for a Researcher to join its health policy & market access team in Brussels for 6 months on a trainee contract.


The Researcher will provide high-quality monitoring and research services to Hanover's existing Brussels clients, together with timely research and administrative support on new business activities, including acquisition, and development.

They will also be responsible for supporting stakeholder events and providing administrative support for client meetings.


With an office located in the heart of the European Quarter, Hanover Brussels work closely with businesses, trade associations, NGOs and public sector bodies to bridge the gap between their business objectives and the policy environment they operate in.


The Healthcare International Policy & Market Access team is growing rapidly and prides itself on providing content-driven, strategic advice to clients.

Our current focus is on providing excellent strategic advice in healthcare policy and addressing the challenges our clients are likely to face in the future.

Requirements:


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring legislative and policy developments, with a focus on EU health and pharmaceutical policy
  • Targeted research and policy analysis
  • Administrative and event support

Skills & Experience:


  • Strong understanding of the EU institutions and the EU decisionmaking process;
  • Previous relevant internship experience in one of the EU institutions or healthcarerelevant advocacy organisations. Experience at other agencies would be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of EU healthcare policies is a key selection criterion;
  • Selfmotivated team player;
  • Strong research, analysis and drafting skills;
  • Excellence in written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in other European languages, especially French and/or German is an advantage;
  • Comfortable with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
