JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Scrum Master is a servant leader and coach.

The mission of the Senior Scrum Master will consist of helping Scrum teams meet their goals by educating the team in Scrum, following-up on the team Scrum Board and ensuring Agile processes and best practices are being followed.

The Senior Scrum Master fosters collaboration with other scrum teams and follows up inter-team dependencies. The

Senior Scrum Master also helps remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow and relentless improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Helps the team embrace Agile Values;
Facilitates meetings and Agile Rituals
Facilitates all team meetings, including (where applicable) the Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective;
Supports the team rules
The rules of an Agile Team are lightweight, but they are rules nonetheless, and the Scrum Master is responsible for reinforcing them;
Facilitates the team's progress towards team goals
The Scrum Master is trained as a team facilitator and is continuously engaged in challenging the old norms of development to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow and velocity;
Helps the team improve and take responsibility for their actions;
Teaches problemsolving techniques and helps the team become better problem

- solvers for themselves, more self-steering;

Helps the Product Owners in their efforts to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope;
Eliminates impediments;
Builds a highperforming team;

Protects and communicates

Communicates with management and outside stakeholders; helps protect the team from uncontrolled expansion of work;
Helps coordinate interteam cooperation on release train level;
Coaching management, leaders, teams and other Scrum Masters in the new processes and mindsets. Both through day to day evangelization as active participation in the Agile Community of Practice.

MANDATORY SKILLS

Agile methodology.
Extended experience in Agile methodologies is required with a preference for SAFe.
IT Solutions Engineering.

- (Strong) affinity with engineering of IT solutions at all levels and a good general understanding of business contexts and complex IT architectures including different technologies and systems.

IT Domain Experience in Data&Analytics context (AI/ML and BI) and with very technical teams.
Affinity with cloud transformation and DevOps.
Experience in Data Governance initiatives is a plus.
Coaching Helps the team embrace Agile Values.
Facilitates the team's progress towards team goals.
