TEMPORARY MISSION ( minimum until end of 2023)


The Digital Acquisition Officer is responsible for driving quality traffic foot traffic to our stores, traffic to the website(s) of Carrefour or stimulating app downloads of the Carrefour App through the use of performance marketing channels such as search engine advertising, search engine optimization, universal app campaigns, affiliate marketing and/or remarketing/retargeting campaigns.

The DAO will manage and optimize the investment in search engine advertising campaigns.


Main responsibilities:


Traffic & Research tools:


  • Explore the proper tools and find new opportunities, keywords, insights,...
  • Set up and campaign management
  • Build up a solid account / campaign group structure
  • Optimize the digital investments for SEA all in line with our objectives (traffic quality, app install, conversion and ROAS)
  • Follow up media expenses,
  • Define an audience strategy
  • Test new ways to advertise and reach audiences

Analysis and reporting

  • Monitor data, analyze data and optimize the SEA campaigns
  • Report on a biweekly basis on the different campaigns and optimization implemented and proposed improvements
  • Analyze our SEA traffic based on data in Google Analytics, similarweb, Data AI, Semrush
  • Benchmarking with the competition on a monthly basis to align our campaign spend and strategy.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with the SEO expert and contribute to keyword strategy,
  • Collaborate closely with the digital / ecommerce team to optimize landing page / run landing page test to optimize conversion
  • Collaborate closely with the offline marketing team to align campaigns, ad messaging on search with Above the line campaigns,
  • Develop his/her own expertise, professionalism and client orientation.
  • Help to optimize internal operations and processes.
  • Be an active ambassador of Carrefour and encourage colleagues to become more so.
  • Collaborate closely and supports the SEO expert to deploy the search strategy by:
  • aligning the keyword buying strategy with Search Engine Optimization efforts on driving quality traffic through organic ranking,
  • Optimizing On Page SEO elements (Titles, descriptions and on page seo elements)
  • Collaborate closely with the online branding and media and campaign team to:
  • ensure coherent messages in Search aligned with offline campaigns,
- ensure presence of strategic keywords and drive quality traffic.

  • Collaborate closely with the brand & content team to identify and suggest topics for branded content based upon keyword research and competitor ranking analysis
  • Drive quality traffic on branded content around topics such as; price perception and Act for Food (our global program for all initiatives around food transition and sustainability).
  • Collaborate closely with the data insights manager to create reports and analysis to evaluate campaigns on traffic quality, store visits and online conversion (ecommerce transactions).
  • Be in close contact with partners (Google) to discuss ongoing and new campaigns. He/she proactively implements recommendations for account optimization but also critically challenges recommendations based upon results analysis.

Competences:
Studies and experience

- min 2 year experience in digital agency or on the advertiser side (experience in retail is a plus)
- min bachelor in Marketing, Economics, Communication, E-commerce
- proven track record in SEA & SEO

  • Experience with product feed management is a plus
  • Expertise related certifications
  • Google Ads Search (required)
  • Google Ads Apps (required)
  • Google Ads Measurement (required)
  • Google Ads Display (nice to have)
  • Google Ads Videocertification (nice to have)
  • Experience with Search 360 and Bing ads is a plus
