The Finance General team manages the planning and direction of finance process and activities. Activities include the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.

This role in summary:

We are looking for a confident and experienced Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Manager to join us at KitchenAid. The KitchenAid brand celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019 and forms part of the Whirlpool Corporation.

In this role you will support the creation of a new finance team and will oversee 3 Accounts Payable specialists and 4 Accounts Payable specialists.

We're looking for someone who is organized, analytical and has strong people management skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

Accountable for the correctness of accounts, forecasts and overall credit and A/R & A/P related activities and master data maintenance.
Responsible for creating, maintaining and providing accurate and timely reporting and analysis to enable management to make informed decisions.
Ensuring integrity and consistency of financial controls and systems in alignment with GAAP and SOX requirements.
Responsible for initiating and leading projects in order to show continuous improvement in the AP/AR area.
Leading a team of 2 AR specialists and 2 AP specialists and dotted line 4 people in the Shared Service Center in Lodz.
Performing an assessment of the Asis state and the ideal org chart.
The role holder offers leadership in ensuring that the BTC and PTP processes meet operational, business and strategic needs.

Minimum requirements:

Master degree in Business, Finance or Economics or equivalent by experience
5+years professional experience
Strong people management skills (At least 3 years experience managing a team)
Excellent communication and problem solving

Preferred skills and experiences:

Strong sense of autonomy and responsibility
Flexible and comfortable working in a fast paced, high energy environment
Team player
Must be fluent in English; German, French and Dutch are a plus
Project management experience
