The objectives of the European Medical and Clinical Division are to organize, manage and conduct clinical trials by respecting all regulatory requirements and Good Clinical practice, to communicate clinical data to a wider audience, to manage all medical aspects of company products, and to contribute to the development of new products and therapies.


Job Summary:


Anthony Mascaux, Group Administration Affairs and Compliance Manager, is looking to strengthen his team to support the administrative follow-up of around 100 ongoing trials.

These differ in scope and duration and focus on different fields within the Terumo Clinical and Medical trials landscape.

The goal of this role is to support in the follow-up of these trials from A to Z from drafting phase to the support and follow-up of the role out, with special focus on contract and payments administration.

Hence this position requires excellent communication and planning skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team in a fast paced and highly regulated environment.


Responsibilities:

Taking the complexity of the Terumo European headquarters as a division of an important Japanese corporation, a global leader in the health care business, the job duties can be categorizing into different fields:

  • Payment and Agreement administration
  • Financial and administrative tasks related to contracts and Purchase Orders
  • Collaboration with other Terumo entities related to new contracts, Master Agreements, and followup of requests and cross charges
  • Management and tracking of Purchase Order in the SAP system
  • Creation and followup of new vendors within the system
  • Filing documentation according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Maintain close contacts with the Finance department to ensure the consistency of financial process (payment process, terms, accrual)
  • Support for the annual financial audit
  • Preparation for Clinical Trials
  • Provide administrative assistance to the management of clinical research projects
  • Provide administrative assistance to the EMCD management
  • Administrative assistance in SOP preparation and updates
  • Others
  • Act as a representative of the company
  • Assume all other responsibilities and authorities this function may require regarding new opportunities

Profile Description:


  • Administration or Accounting Bachelor Degree with working experience in a Medical administrative role
  • SAP experience on financial and administrative tasks
  • Good knowledge of the Healthcare Compliance Guidance
  • Developed administrative and accounting skills.
  • Welldeveloped computer skills (MS Office)
  • Able to work in a strictly regulated environment (strictly following SOP's of the department)
  • Accurate in administration work
  • Communication skills;
  • Must be able to work in an international environment;
  • Fluent in English and preferably one other language (French and/or Dutch): written and spoken active knowledge;
  • Ability to function selfreliant.
