About the role

Supports the PCRU Safety Lab and study activities: ensuring that the system is maintained in a state which meets regulatory, technical, quality and safety expectations

Responds to requests and queries around lab data in support of study activities. Acts as data coordinator and is responsible for overall quality of lab data.

Executes periodic database maintenance to include SQL scripts daily, weekly and at the end of a study

Responds to software and hardware failures as needed. Works with Digital partners to resolve issues.

Main responsibilities- Manages and act as mentor for multiple systems within the Lab: LIMS, samples tracking and inventory system, temperature monitoring system, quality control monitoring system.

Bring support for any new system/software implementation.- Oversight of accurate protocol interpretation and coordinates with the Lab project coordinators any specialized technical support to insure efficient and accurate study implementation and maintain quality data.- Ensure the good maintenance of the LIMS system for PCRU by supporting requirements definition, functional design, master data configuration, data migration, system validation, SOP development/revision, and end-user training.- Ensures the systems are operating accurately after updates and changes: Troubleshoots issues with the data in and between LIMS and eHR Works closely with the Global Laboratory Sr.

Mgr & Database Administrator and the PIMS administrator.- Provides daily technical support to LIMS/system users for safety laboratory operations: set up reference ranges and reflex tests using simple to complex scripting and create new analysis test codes in LIMS for Safety Laboratory

Flexible:

Demonstrate ability and flexibility (regular on-call duty, 24/7) in case of urgency to ensure safety coverage of volunteers/patients and clinical trials.

About you- Significant track record of experience and accomplishment in clinical and/or research laboratory setting.- At least 3 years of relevant experience in clinical research / clinical operations environment or accredited Lab as ISO or GMP.- Working knowledge of computers.- Strong knowledge of laboratory data handling acquisition systems (i.e. electronic lab notebook software) and associated issues/risks is a plus.- Business English (C1) & Dutch and/or French (C1).
