THE JOB

Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic and local hero Sports brands in the Benelux to be activated on the Veepee Platform; either in the Benelux or across Europe.
Within the Sport Team we work with brands and suppliers from various categories: Performance, Athleisure and Casual. Priority segments where we focus on are Running, Outdoor and Fitness/ Yoga.

Brands whom we work with in the Sports category are, amongst others: Puma, Craft, Asics, Eastpak, Under Armour, FILA and New Balance

We provide various commercial services including Flash Sales, Market Place( to start Q One Day Activations, Media, 'digitally delivered goods' DDG


Responsible for the strategy, execution and performance of the BNL Sports Category:


Strategy:


  • Develop and implement Sport category & segment growth strategies for current key accounts & prospects portfolio:
Align and agree the BNL Sport Strategy with Veepee Group, to enhance category growth.

Main KPI's are Revenue and Profitability.


Strategy:


  • Lead the commercial agenda and deliver on account & financial targets.


This includes portfolio reviews and generating additional business with the existing brands as well as prospecting aligned with local needs and commercial advice of other markets and regions.

Regular traveling between our Headquarters in Amsterdam and Brussels and weekly supplier meetings are part of the role.


Operational:


  • Manage and process the flow of each campaign from the offer to the launch in cooperation with the sales analyst in the team. This in alliance with residing stakeholders, e.g. logistics, production, marketing, customer care, finance and legal.


Lead and manage the development and execution of your annual commercial calendar and secure adherence to planning and processes by the team.


You report to the Business Manager Sport & Shoes Benelux.

WHAT YOU BRING:


  • At least 5 years' experience in a commercial role, including account management;
  • Experience, knowledge and network in the Sports and/or Footwear category is a Plus;
  • Strong commercial skills : analytics, segmentation, driving profitable growth;
  • Good command in CRM
  • BI Tools
  • Excel;
  • Commercial assertiveness
  • Energy, positiveness and humor;
  • Fluent in Dutch & English, French is a plus
