About the job

As a Senior Brand Manager in the global Marketing portfolio & innovation team, you take the lead in the development & implementation of the portfolio & innovation strategy of Alpro.

The scope of this role is dedicated to Coffee and Away from Home. One of our key growth levers for the company and plant based category.

You co-build the long term category vision of business critical product categories in line with the brand equity vision, taking into account overall company strategy and objectives.

You take the lead in implementing the category strategy in close cooperation with the local marketing and cross-functional teams in order to achieve the expected business results (sales volume, net sales and contribution) for the assigned category(ies) and you will develop & lead some key projects to further nurture PB growth of the core.

- _You are part of the global Plant Based marketing team based in Ghent and report to a Marketing Manager.

  • In your role, you will be responsible for the following areas:_
  • Cobuild the vision for your categories/platforms
  • You gather relevant consumer insights, food trends, and local market dynamics and combine it with financial targets to define the way forwards for your respective categories/platforms for years to come.
  • You work closely with the key countries to address their current and future needs and enable fast growth of the category
  • Together with your Marketing Manager, you define the category vision for your respective scope including key insights, renovations, innovations, as well as portfolio and pricing guidance.
  • You give direction for the coming years to the crossfunctional team: R&I, IPRO, Operations, and set clear priorities in view of decisionmaking.
  • Transform in concrete business plans and innovations/ renovations
  • You translate the category vision in product concept briefs (innovation and renovation) and viable business case in collaboration with the countries, IPRO, R&I, UX and Operations
  • You adapt to the fast evolving context and pivot your projects and steer the crossfunctional project team accordingly
  • You work closely with the IPRO, R&I and local teams to keep the speed and the momentum on your projects to tackle issues in a proactive and autonomous way in order to reach the defined marketing and business objectives
  • When relevant, you facilitate the decision making of your stakeholders (Global Marketing VP, Head of by bringing.
About you

You hold a Master Degree, preferable in Marketing and bring at least 6 years of marketing experience within a Food or FMCG environment.
