GEOxyz is an independent company specialized in hydrographic, geophysical & geotechnical and topographical surveys, site investigations, off shore renewable energy support and crew transfers.

The Company operates primarily in the North Sea basin and liaises with highly qualified people (about ~ 180 employees) as well as state of the art assets (vessels, measurement and analytical instruments).

The current business has about €60,0 million worth in sales.

In search of a Geophysicist on board of vessels:

As Geophysicist on board of vessels you control quality and interpret geophysical data and to process raw data into final products for the client.

Main tasks of the geophysicist are:

You conduct quality control of survey data and check data for completeness.-
You undertake processing according to company procedures.-
You interpret geophysical data.-
You monitor working methods and suggest improvements where applicable.-
You assist with writing project reports and optimize the data quality.-
You will work both on board (60%) as in the (home) office (40%)-
On board you report to the party chief and/or QC coordinator on project level.

What do we expect from you?:

You obtained a bachelor degree in geology or geophysics or have relevant experience.-
You have both good written and spoken English skills.-
You possess a good knowledge of MS Office.-
You are organized, customer focused, methodical and you have attention for detail
