Job description:

Your Challenges

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
Stay uptodate with the latest Java technologies and industry trends.
Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver highquality software solutions.

Profile:

Your Profile as a Java Developer

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in Java 11 (and Java 17), Spring Framework (version 5 and above), Spring MVC, JavaScript/Typescript frameworks like (we work with ), Responsive HTML/CSS, Design & Implementation of REST API, JAX-WS and JAX-RS, SOA principles (REST, SOAP).
Handson experience with cloud deployments (Microsoft Azure/Azure DevOps, etc.).
Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Like to work in a team where everybody's values and ideas are heard.

Languages

Fluent in either French or Dutch and next to an excellent understanding of English.

Location:

Brussels, Belgium

Minimally two days per week in the office in Brussels North is mandatory, working remotely the rest of the week is allowed.
