Assist the Food and Beverage Manager to direct and organize the Food & Beverage function within the hotel to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and merchandising to maximize profit.

Ensure the smooth running of the food and beverage offer throughout the Hotel.

You will have the responsibility to develop, innovate and deliver a product mix which is quality driven whilst maintaining superior financial returns by maintaining established costs and quality standards and appropriate processes at all levels in all departmental areas to achieve this.

This will be driven by ensuring that all working methods are reviewed and best practice is achieved so we in turn can grow our business whilst delivering excellent guest service.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work, and develop relationships, with external suppliers to ensure the very best reputation within the industry, and receives the service required to ensure that the operational Food and Beverage team can deliver the highest quality product, and the highest financial return
  • Work closely with the Department manager to ensure correct stock levels are available from central distribution area, to assist the operational Food and Beverage team
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements
  • Ensure that the industry standards regarding safety and hygiene are always kept
  • Work closely with the Sales team to assist in closing Group/Event business through participation in Site Inspections, enhancing pricing and offering to fit budgets presented by the Sales/Catering teams whilst maintaining property set profitability
  • Constantly review the product range to ensure that all key quality standards are maintained
  • Manage all internal stakeholders

  • Will also participate in and drive the F&B offer development panel that drives the culinary food offer across the property
  • Will assist the Food & Beverage Manager with managing Health & Safety and Food Hygiene, ensuring there is strict compliance with all legislation
  • To be responsible for overall operations of both the restaurant (TD and Le 5), banquet and Room service sections of the Department.
  • To maintain a high profile within the restaurant during service periods, with emphasis on guest relations and needs.
  • To plan and co-ordinate a guest recognition program, and implement once approved by the F&B Manager.
