Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. More than a 100 airlines, lessors, private aircraft operators and MRO partners have entrusted their engines to our company. We employ over 200 highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic employees.

To strengthen our Finance Department we are looking for an Accountant:

Your role:

Process supplier invoices and expense reports;
Follow up the accounting mailbox;
Handle vendor reminders and facilitate communication if necessary;
Reconcile accounts in the ERP System, including fixed asset accounts, ensuring accuracy;
Review and substantiate balances across various account types for financial integrity;
Coordinate creation and modification of suppliers master data, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
Analyze errors and initiate corrective actions;
Prepare monthly financial reports for review and decisionmaking;
Manage manual payments, wage disbursements, and fleetrelated financial matters.

Your profile:

Bachelor in Accounting, or secondary school degree with relevant experience;
Proficient in Belgian accounting standards, basic understanding of Belgian tax systems (VAT, DNA), and IFRS standards;
Excellent command of MS-Office and SAP;
Fluent in Dutch, French and English;
Works in a structured and organized manner;
Proficient in both independent work and effective team collaboration.
