Commercial Control Manager- Finance

The Commercial Control Manager prepares, provides and analyses financial management information which supports the decision making process of the Finance Director, Sales department, and the Management Team.
The position reports to BE Finance Director and manages a team of 4 (Commercial Controllers and a Commercial Control Specialist).
Consolidation of local reporting:
- Financial reporting towards business unit and corporate (forecast, period end closing, VPM analysis )
- Prepare and Lead month end forecast reporting, communicating insight and analysis to the management and business
- Follow volumes assumptions, regular revisions (M-cycle) and forecast with both Sales and Supply Chain
- Calculate and analyses prices, discounts and specific conditions per concept and per customer (full responsibility over TAS IT tool)
- Maintain control over the different Customers' agreements in collaboration with Sales
- Report monthly the analyses to the KAMs, NAM, Sales Director, Finance Director and Management Team when necessary
- Work closely with each KAM on his/her different requests for ad-hoc analyses
- Support the KAMs and NAM during the annual customers' negotiations (building the adequate simulations tools and updating the financial outputs)
- Animate monthly Sales budget review with NAM and Sales Director
Play his/her full role in the Controlling team:
- Participate to budget (AOP), forecast and monthly reporting preparations, analyses and presentations
- Be responsible for the internal controls under his/her responsibility
- Handle any ad hoc questions about financial processes, administrative processing and reporting
- Build a strong and engaged team that delivers. You have a strong focus on people development and consistently improves capabilities and engagement in the team.
Qualifications:
For this role, we are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- University degree in Finance /Economics
- 57 years of relevant Finance working experience in FP&A or business controlling
- People management experience
- Strong engagement, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a set of stakeholders & hold others accountable
- Strong analytical skills (accuracy and speed)
- Ability to make the complex simple
- Team spirit, result and solution oriented
- Excellent Excel and Automate skills
- English and Dutch and/or French
