Job Title:
Senior QA/QC Inspector


Location:
Belgium


Key Responsibilities of the Role:


  • Execute specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
  • Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to PM nonconformances reports.
  • Compile handover packages to the client.
  • Check cable laying and cable identification.
  • Perform all relevant loop checks.
  • Update as built drawings.
  • Perform punchlisting operations.
  • Check power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting systems etc.
  • Perform visual inspections, dimensional test, check rating and material.
  • Perform tests of continuity and insulation resistance.
  • Check and verify installation of instruments.
  • Performs tests functional instruments.
  • All inspections and installation conform to clients specifications.
  • Check pneumatic signal connection.
  • Check fiber optic cable.
  • Perform test communication functionalities.
  • Witness the tests, controls and inspections carried out.
  • Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.
  • Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection & Test Plans.
  • Participate in Mechanical Completion (MC) walkdowns with client for systems turnover.

Essential Criteria for the Role:


  • Electrical, Instrumentation (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
  • This role is not open to Visa sponsorship
  • EU residency / Citizenship essential.
