Mandated by the European Commission to support the EU's Research and Innovation policy, the European Research Executive Agency (REA) funds and assists high-quality research and innovation projects that generate knowledge leading to a greener world in which Europe has prosperous, inclusive economies and societies that take full advantage of the digital age.


REA is also responsible for the management of the call evaluation platform which welcome hundreds of experts from all over the world and is being used by the other Executive Agencies.


The service aims at providing onsite user support for the lifecycle of expert evaluations hosted in COVE and at REA for the ICT logistics and AV&C activities as well as for the support of meeting hosted in REA building.

The core activities are ensuring the first level support for all information systems operated in the front office, monitoring and providing first level support to meeting held in REA building


YOUR TASKS

  • User guidance and support regarding the use of information systems, ICT tools and audiovisual systems;
  • Participate to meetings as preevaluation to define the needs of the clients;
  • Monitor the evaluation facility and ensuring the availability of the meetings;
  • Provide technical and business firstline support to experts;
  • Report incidents related and follow them up: liaise with central services of DG DIGIT and DG SCIC;
  • Followup user requests;
  • Document knowledge, known issues and transfer this knowledge to colleagues;
  • Categorize and prioritize incoming tickets correctly and escalate where needed;
  • Ensure the first level support for all information systems operated in the front office.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The following specific expertise is mandatory:

  • Excellent knowledge in end user assistance and support of information systems.
  • Ability to understand, speak and write English (C1) and French (C1).
  • Experience of wiki, collaborative sites and social networks.
  • Experience of the office automation tools used in the contracting authority (M365).
  • Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability and experience in working in team;
  • Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
  • Ability to work in multicultural environment, on multiple large projects;
  • Excellent Team Player;
  • Ability to understand, speak and write English (C1) and French (C1);
