Join our active Safety and Risk Management Advisory Team located in Belgium and the Netherlands, where we play a key role in supporting clients with hazard identification, risk assessments, and the enhancement of reliable safety management systems.

    Our Safety and Risk Management Advisory Team in Benelux, situated in Belgium and the Netherlands, assists clients in conducting hazard identification and risk assessment studies, from qualitative analyses (HAZOP, HAZID, etc.) to consequence modeling and comprehensive quantitative risk assessments. Putting in place and enhancing the safety management system of our clients is a crucial aspect of the job, along with investigating incidents to determine root causes within the management system. We aid our industrial clients in establishing safer and more sustainable facilities.

    About the Role:

    • Project Participation: Engage in a variety of projects, taking charge of subprojects to drive significant outcomes.
    • Client Interaction: Cultivate and sustain essential client relationships, providing expertise and assistance in safety and risk management.
    • Tender Processes: Contribute to proposal development and engage in tender processes for risk management services.
    • Network Building: Collaborate internally at DNV, promoting national and international connections to encourage cross-unit knowledge sharing and specialized collaboration.

    Qualifications:

    • Educational Background: Possess a university degree (Master's or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (Chemical, Process, HSE, or Mechanical).
    • Language Skills: Be proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written, with a preference for French proficiency.
    • Analytical Skills: Demonstrate exceptional analytical abilities, combined with a strong logical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Communication: Display effective communication skills and a dedicated work ethic.
