Abbott is recruiting a Returns Specialist

Role and Responsibilities:

Handling of Returned Goods:

Physical receipt and daily sorting of all returned goods at the returns area
Physical inspection of returned goods: comparing shipping documents with content of returned goods, handling of returned products in compliance with all relevant SOP's
Updating the ERP system with the receipt of the returned goods
General administration related to PER and/or regular returns
Report the product details/determination of dispositioning to local affiliates/CS Export department
Followup pending return shipments in collaboration with local affiliates/CS Export department
Monitoring in transit returns from local affiliates/CS Export department to the EDC in the related ERP system and take corrective action when required
Monitoring in transit returns from the EDC to the MFG sites in the related ERP system and escalate to local management if required (aging issues, etc.)
Facilitate putaway process for conforming products and final dispositioning (repack/scrap/return to MFG, etc.) process for nonconforming products
When required, move goods received to a warehouse location in compliance with all relevant SOP's and update the ERP system accordingly
