Business Development - Brussel | Just now- As a Project Lead at the imec group university group VUBIMS / Brubotics, located at the Brussels Campus Humanities, Sciences & Engineering in Ixelles, you'll spearhead the coordination, communication, and successful execution of innovative R&D projects with real market potential.

Serving as the vital link between our lab, industrial partners, and stakeholders to ensure project success and potential for future deep-tech ventures.- What you will doAs Project Manager you will be responsible for coordinating, following up and reporting on several projects with real market potential.

You act as the liaison between our lab and industrial partners, ensuring that our R&D projects stay on track and meet the needs of both academia and industry.

You plan and organize: You prepare detailed project plans, defining objectives, tasks, milestones, deadlines and resources. You ensure that the project plan is realistic and meets the needs of all stakeholders.
You communicate: You are responsible for communicating progress, issues and decisions to the project team, stakeholders and other relevant parties. You act as a bridge between different stakeholders and ensure open and transparent communication.
You manage stakeholders: You identify and manage stakeholder expectations, align their interests and resolve any conflicts to ensure the involvement and support of all stakeholders.
You manage risk: You identify, investigate and manage risks that may affect the progress or success of the project. You develop a risk management plan and take measures to minimize or avoid risks.
You manage resources: You ensure that the right resources are available and allocated to the right tasks at the right time, including human, financial and material resources.
You ensure quality: You ensure the quality of the final product or service by defining quality standards, performing checks and audits, and implementing improvements to meet stakeholder requirements and expectations.
You monitor progress and report: You closely monitor project progress and regularly report to stakeholders on status, performance and any changes. You will identify deviations from the plan and take appropriate actions to get the project back on track.

For this position, the Brussels Campus Humanities, Sciences & Engineering in Ixelles will serve as your home base.

BruBotics, the multidisciplinary Brussels Human Robotics Research Center is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Project Manager to join our team.

Energy-efficient robotic grippers for automation in factories
Selfhealing materials: polymers that can repair themselves just like our skin

Who you are

Minimum of a Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably in robotics, engineering, business or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in project management.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Fluent English: you must be able to demonstrate the ability to express yourself in English, both orally and in writing.
Fluent Dutch is a plus.
A proactive and resultsoriented attitude, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
You are a storyteller; able to talk openly about technical issues.
Knowledge of the robotics industry and/or experience with technology transfer and valorization is a plus.
