Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for
Inspectors:

Your role:

You perform visual and dimensional inspection on dismantled parts in accordance with applicable procedures;
You assess parts (good as is, repair or scrap), modules or engine through the ERP system and launch necessary actions;
You ensure the traceability of the work by administratively closing the tasks performed;
You verify the AD/SB status of the parts and modules;
You determine the future configuration of parts or modules;
You perform the 'incoming inspection' of parts after repair or of pieces being purchased;
You perform the final inspection after internal repair.

Your profile:

You have a technical secondary school education with proven experience as an aviation technician, or a bachelor degree in aviation, with relevant experience;
You have a very good knowledge of aircraft engines;
You are stressresistant and take responsibility;
You are flexible can adapt to changing working conditions;
As an Inspector quality and safety are your priorities;
You are proactive and can take decisions in urgent situations;
You speak fluent Dutch or French, and have good knowledge of technical English;
You are willing to work 2 shifts (from 6am to 2pm, and from 2pm to 10pm);
You enjoy working in a team, in a multilingual environment and supporting your colleagues.
