Education required:

You are regularly
enrolled in Master in Engineering, Statistics, IT or Automation in an Educational Establishment located in Europe.


Language requirement:
French, English is a must


Other requirements:
Linux, Firewall and Network communication, TCP/IP protocol, Control/Regulation algorithm, Python programming. Resilient and Flexible


Nice to have:
Artificial Intelligence; Deployment of ML models, Docker


Expected start date:
As soon as possible


Duration:
minimum 4 months up to 6 months ideally


Requisite:

The internship must be mandatory & done in the framework of the curriculum, for which an agreement must be signed between GSK, the student and the Educational Establishment.


Remuneration:
according to Belgian legal requirements, the internship will not be paid. However, some expenses will be reimbursed.

What will you do?:


  • Develop specific tailored experiments on highthroughput platforms to support formulation and analytical testing of vaccines products to speed up the development of vaccines and decrease the operator workload.
  • Collaborate with different teams and be willing to provide them the best support possible.
  • Propose draft study designs for discussion with manager or more experienced scientists on buffer/excipient screening, analytical development and optimization, preformulation, degradation pathways assessment, etc.
  • Perform research activities in laboratories, including sample preparation using robotic systems, data acquisition following GxP guidelines and report to team / manager
  • Document the entire experiment following the data integrity guidance developed internally
  • Propose and implement pragmatic solutions to address operational technical and scientific issues while considering already existing knowledge
  • Look for appropriate data sources
  • Actively participate to internal meetings including scientific / technical presentations for information or decision making
  • Consult other team members to ensure consistency of the scientific/ technical approach or strategy
  • Follow trainings on automation and highthroughput platforms (e.g. TECAN and Hamilton, or others liquid handlings systems) and all related aspects if needed
  • Train equipment users on developed programs after implementation
  • Support scientists by troubleshooting issues they might encounter and create protocols to help them in their daily activities.
