Beschrijving
For our client at the European Parliament, we are currently hiring an
editor for online content in Lithuanian language who is experienced with
Social Media Management.
Responsibilities
- writing articles in Lithuanian for the European Parliament's news website on a daily basis
- translating and proofreading Lithuanian-language content
- daily management of the European Parliament's profile on Twitter or other social media in Lithuanian
- preparing draft articles in English for publication on the European Parliament's website
- preparing infographics and social media content for the European Parliament's communication needs
- producing and developing content
- taking part in cross-unit meetings with Lithuanian-speaking members of staff to identify and develop angles of interest to the Lithuanian-speaking public and adapt products to the specific interests of national audiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree attested by an officially recognised diploma.
- At least three years of professional experience
- Knowledge of journalism, press releases and online media
- Knowledge of multimedia production
- Lithuanian skills at native speaker level
- Very good English skills
- Excellent editorial skills
