We are looking for a number of people to join an exciting programme that will catapult you to a leadership position at ING.


As an IT Team Lead, you will use your technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to guide and develop a team of skilled IT professionals.

We will help you along the way so that you can support and inspire your team.

What will you be doing? (we don't expect you to be an expert yet)

  • Reporting to the Area Lead, you will help guide and develop a team of technology professionals, including developers, testers, and analysts.
  • Collaborate with other IT Team Leads (called Chapter Leads at ING) to ensure your team has the skills and capabilities to deliver highquality technology solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to your team and support them in overcoming technical challenges.
  • Work together with other IT Team Leads and Agile Coaches to develop and implement processes and methodologies that promote efficiency and productivity.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure your team delivers solutions that meet requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within your team.
  • As soon as you start, you'll be part of an indepth programme teaching you all the skills you need to become the best possible version of yourself.

The experience we would like to see

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in technology, ideally software development and architecture.
  • Solid people skills with experience guiding and developing teams (we will help with this).
  • Broad understanding of various technologies such as Java, SQL, JavaScript, Cloud Computing, Jira.
  • PM Frameworks, IITL, Prince2, Scrum.
  • Great communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
