Your team and your responsibilities:

Team/division description

In the heart of Europe's innovative landscape, a dynamic and diverse team of researchers and developers embarks on a mission poised to redefine the future of energy storage.

With a steadfast commitment to sustainability and a keen focus on circular economy principles, this team stands at the forefront of battery research and development.

The team is part of the Material Engineering Division and focuses on new materials and analytical technologies for the next generation of automotive battery cells.

Your project

We are now offering a position to elaborate new active materials for positive electrode, especially considering high energy density cells.

The focus will be more particularly on the development and preparation of high thickness electrodes using promising positive active material.

The activity will include:

Benchmark state of the art technology in the specific field.
Manufacture test pieces and test them using several electrochemical tests.
Deliver well developed prototype samples by the end of the internship.
Identify technology issues, suggest solutions and improvement.
Standardize process issuing work instruction sheets.

Your Profile:

You are fluent in English (TME's business language), any other European language is a plus
Master student in final year (preferably: Chemical / Electrochemical / Materials Engineering)
Good knowledge in electrochemistry, material science, ink formulation
Flexible team player
Open personality able to work in an independent way, handson activities
Basic computer skills (MS Office and database)
