Markets HR Director - Asia, Pacific, Middle-East, Africa (APMEA)


Step into a role where you can bring Puratos' unique Magic culture and People Charter to life in a diverse and exciting region.

As the Markets HR for our Asia, Pacific, Middle-East, Africa (APMEA) Markets, you'll play a crucial role in implementing our Global HR Strategy across different countries.

You'll inspire and work closely with Country HR Managers and Country General Managers, collaborating with a team of Functional and Regional Leaders.

Together with our Global HR Centers of Excellence, you'll define and support the implementation of Puratos' strategic HR priorities, processes and policies across the APMEA Markets.

As a member of the Regional Leadership team and of the HR Global Leadership Team, you'll have a significant impact in shaping our HR initiatives both regionally and globally.


Key Responsibilities:

Translate the Markets Business Strategy into a People Strategy in alignment with the Group HR Strategy

Implement HR Policies and Strategy:Deeply understand, influence and support the execution of HR policies, systems, and processes, aligning with the Group HR Strategy's agenda and priorities for effective local implementation.

Act as a strategic partner and advisor to leadership in APMEA on all human resource issues, including formulating HR strategy and policies.

Represent Promote Puratos HR Practices: Act as a local HR ambassador, embodying and promoting Puratos Group HR practices.

Talent Recruitment and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain talent, focusing on both current and future needs. Actively support key recruitments across the market.

Contribute to Global HR Projects: Co-design and participate in global HR initiatives, adapting them to regional needs.

Lead HR Cycle with Excellence: Ensure high-quality, timely, and budget-aligned implementation of HR processes.

Market Analysis and Proactive Solutions: Monitor the talent market and labor trends, proposing proactive solutions to challenges.

Strategic Workforce Planning: Regularly update regional workforce plans, aligning with business growth and productivity goals.

Organizational Analysis for Improvement: Continuously assess and propose improvements in organizational design and efficiency.

Strengthen Employer Branding: Initiate and lead efforts to enhance our employer branding for better talent attraction and retention.

Drive Regional Engagement Initiatives: Implement and monitor regional engagement strategies, ensuring they resonate with diverse cultural nuances across the APMEA region.

Employee Engagement and Value Proposition: Work closely with leaders to improve employee engagement and develop a consistent employee value proposition.

Data Analysis and KPI Monitoring: Analyze trends and monitor key performance indicators for data consistency and accuracy.

Compliance and Technology Utilization: Maintain compliance and leverage our HR platform, Success Factors, for data and process integrity.

Oversee HR Budgeting: Collaborate with Finance and Business Leaders on the annual HR budget process.

Ensure compliance of Payroll and Personnel Administration: Ensure all payroll and personnel administration complies with local laws and is executed flawlessly.

Enhance HR Practices: Continuously improve the maturity of HR practices in the APMEA region, overcoming barriers and monitoring action plans

Team Development and Collaboration: Strengthen team bonding and collaboration within the HR APMEA team, and enhance their functional skills.

Leadership Development and Coaching: Advise and coach senior business leaders, promoting their development and impact on the workforce.

Active Global Collaboration: Participate in global HR initiatives, contributing to the broader HR agenda and promoting HR development within Puratos. Share best practices with other markets and contribute to the Group HR team's knowledge.

Cultural Sensitivity and Training Focus: Embed cultural sensitivity in all HR practices and focus on training and development to enhance regional capabilities.


Educational Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or other related fields.

An Executive MBA is an added advantage.


Language Proficiency:

Full proficiency in English.


Professional Experience:

Extensive experience as a senior HR leader, with full-scope responsibilities, in multinational companies.

Experience in active role in business management teams


Deep understanding and experience in diverse HR domains, including business partnering, total rewards, talent acquisition, performance management, data management, benefits schemes, and payroll systems.


Regional Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of Asia, Middle East, Africa culture and business practices is a competitive advantage.
