Senior Representative, Tax Reporting & Compliance
**Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the role is to be a clients (dedicated) tax contact to assist BNYM clients with their tax queries. This may include producing monthly missing tax documentation reports and assist clients in producing documentation in order to obtain the most preferential and appropriate tax rate at the earliest opportunity. The role also includes helping to resolve any issues clients may have with the tax services provided, dealing with queries, providing guidance on NEXEN as needed and assisting in new account opening and fund launches. This may also include calls with clients and attend meetings when required as well as providing market updates.

Primary Responsabilities:

Coordinates taxrelated regulatory filings. Gathers required data elements, as needed, for various regulatory filings.
Implements system and operational modifications to comply with more substantial regulatory changes. Updates tax forms and information return layouts.
Performs secondlevel quality assurance of tax deliverables for more complex clients in accordance with department policies.
Tracks data needed for tax calculations. Performs straightforward analysis of data and resolves moderately complex data issues.
Identifies missing data needed for tax records and filings and liaises with others in the tax team to obtain the information.

Job Scope:

Responsible for the quality and completion of own work. Helps develop and contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

Education/Experience:

High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; bachelor's degree in a business discipline preferred.
25 years of total work experience preferred.
