About the job

As Project Optimisation Manager (POM) Pack/Product you will manage the Project Optimisation Specialist Product and the VIE Project Optimisation Pack/Product.

Together with your team, you are:

responsible for Industrial Trial management,

- translating innovation into products and packaging and provide technical expertise about industrial feasibility for innovation,
- responsible for renovation, productivity and sourcing.
- keeping track of financial impact of the trials.

Furthermore, you propose and support recommendations that lead to the right match between the Raws & Packs (R&P) specifications on the one hand, and the industrial capability on the other.

Next to this, you identify possible pack or product optimization topics and prepare the business case to decide on resources.

You take the lead to execute the project or for bigger scope lead the project workstream for pack or product.

You perform artwork approvals in the therefor designated tool (Esko) and make decisions regarding different changes with expertise about packaging materials and ensure that all activities are performed according to change management standards.

Your main contacts will be external suppliers of our materials and you will closely collaborate with different internal stakeholders such as the R&I team, Feasibility Managers, Procurement, Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Q&FS...

About you

A master degree, industrial engineer packaging or similar by experience.
Experience in people management is a plus.
Good interpersonal skills to work in a crossfunctional environment.
Knowledge of industrial processes, project management skills is a plus.
Good knowledge of Dutch & English (spoken & written).
Good in Excel, PowerBI is a plus.
Flexibility and discipline to ensure timely and compliant execution of projects.
Drive change but also open for change that others may bring.
