Description of the function:
Brief description of the function - what is the added value.

  • The purpose of the financial administration is the complete, correct and timely processing of the financial flows within the company.
  • The employee can work independently on the assigned tasks.
  • Employee contacts other departments if there are questions or problems.
  • Employee supports (adhoc) with various financial issues.

Core tasks:
Criteria/results with which success can be controlled.

  • Billing
  • Check, process and send invoices
  • Follow up and solve problems with invoices
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Manage credit limits
  • Debtor followup ( requests and collections)
  • Collection administration and followup bankruptcies
  • Payroll administration
  • Contact with the external payroll office
  • Verification of salary data
  • Controller support
  • Prepare various overviews for the monthly figures and annual accounts
  • Adhoc activities for financial controller
  • Support/replace administrative colleague in case of absence

Competences:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both French and English, Dutch is an advantage.

Work experience:

  • Several years of experience in a financial department
  • A completed financial education at university level

Other skills:
Describe other skills necessary to perform the job effectively.

  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Odoo or SAP is an advantage
