    Dark Light specializes in temporarily deploying talented professionals in data & business intelligence projects.

    Currently, we are looking for a Data Solution Architect for a global enterprise.

    Forge ahead in constructing a robust Data Foundation crucial for advancing into a digitally-driven company. As a Data Architect, you'll lead the development of data architecture and modeling standards within a new application landscape, ensuring alignment with business goals. Your role involves designing a tailored data architecture and providing guidance on implementation strategies.

    Tasks

    • Develop and maintain an enterprise data architecture framework to guide (master) data domains.
    • Integrate a global perspective of data flows with an understanding of business processes.
    • Create and adapt data models to meet evolving business and system requirements.
    • Refine data models and flows during the implementation of new IT or business solutions.
    • Oversee data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment to support changing needs.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives post-implementation.
    • Lead technology solution selection and implementation of Data Management platforms.
    • Foster effective data and analytics governance processes and structures.
    • Promote data awareness and integrate data considerations into IT and business change processes.
    • Coordinate and advise stakeholders on data modeling standards and best practices.

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Commercial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in business and data architecture.
    • Proficiency in translating conceptual use cases into practical solutions.
    • Experience working in medium to large global organizations, leading key implementation and transformation data projects.
    • Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF and DAMA DMBOK is advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of databases, data warehousing, and data lakes.
    • Experience in managing outsourcing partners is highly beneficial.
    • Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to engage multiple internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Capability to work independently and make critical decisions.
    • Neutral stance towards specific technologies or vendors.
