Role Overview

We are looking for:

Missions
Electrical Installations are key for the high level of safety and reliability requested from production sites. Safe, sustainable and low footprint solutions are mandatory.

The Electrical Installations Specialist has to:

Ensure that installations are in line with needs and safety standards
Design & validate new or existing grids (long term & project approach)
Provide up to date standards, specifications, procedures and guidelines
Ensure technical expertise into Capex procurement activities
Participate in erection, supervision, commissioning & startup activities
Provide daytoday technical support and troubleshooting assistance to operational teams of the sites
Prospecting new products and technologies
Participate and animate into Solvay electrical community and promote best practices

You will bring:

Education and experience

Master's degree in Electrical engineering, ideally with a specialisation in power systems
5 years of experience in engineering / maintenance & operation on industrial electrical network(s)

Skills
Technical
You have a first experience in using specific power system tools to perform modeling of electrical networks
Experience in electrical networks protections calculations
Control & protection design

Knowledge about best electrical digital technologies

Behavioral
Strong interest in the industrial electrical networks and its various components and complex systemic interactions.

Languages
Fluent French and English, additional languages is a plus
