Data Scientist / Data Engineer

Summary

Responsibilities

Build out and maintain our data warehouse in the initial phase. In the next phase you will drive advanced analytics and AI implementations linked to the overall data strategy
Develop solutions for collecting and importing data from different sources into the data warehouse as well as reporting out of it
Develop solutions that will improve operational efficiency in the company
You will have the opportunity to experiment with the data to gain both business and clinical insights
Participate in the validation of these solutions

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree in science (engineering, computer science, bioinformatics, or other related major)

Main Requirements

Experience in managing a data warehouse / Data lake is a must
Knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL server is a must
Experience with advanced analytics and/or AI is a differentiator
Good working knowledge of one or more of the following is advantageous: API, Python, Power BI, PHP, HTML, R & Shiny apps, LIMS, ELN, VBA, data solutions such as Informatica, SAS or Cloud Analytical solutions (Azure, AWS)
Familiar with principles and methods of software development and validation
You are analytical, well organized, result orientated and a team player capable of working under a minimum of supervision
You combine strong technical skills with excellent communication skills
Fluent in English both written and spoken
