Missions essentielles:

As Export and booking desk specialist, specialized in FOB and CFR, you support the customer service export and booking desk team.

You support customer service export operations to arrange all export related documents to be able to deliver malt on time, cost and quality as per agreement with customers and in the most sustainable way.

Your main responsibilties:

You are supporting the management of our systems, people and processes associated with exporting malt globally out of Antwerp, our main plant.
You ensure that customers receive the best possible service by coordinating and processing customers' orders in due time, maximizing OTIF deliveries, respecting the quality/documents/process requirements of customers, and maintaining the operational and logistics cost under control
You plan and execute customer's order by integrating all needs and constraints of all stakeholders (internal and external)

Day-to-Day Duties

Handling daily ocean export shipments from customer PO until invoicing
Arrange and confirm cargo space with carriers + arrange bookings in case of CFR.
Work with ATO for container loadings + handling of the containers. Always keep demurrage / detention freetime regulations in mind.
Follow the loading plannings and ensure that all details are available in time.
Prepare the container templates for the loading procedures.
Process the container details after loading of the containers and inform all internal parties involved.
Arrange VGM & BL instructions for container shipment with the shipping lines (CFR) or communicate with forwarders in case of FOB.
Collaborate and communicate with brokers and customs in order to (export)clear shipments in accordance with EU regulations
Prepare and/or send in advance notifications of shipments or other documents to agents, shippers or consignees as required
Control the freight invoices & confirm the invoices with PO created in JDE
Create invoices according to company procedures; submits invoices to customers.
Ensure that the appropriate export documentation is in place as required by each customer.
Issue phytosanitary certificates, certificates of origin, health certificates.
Setup the possibility to issue waiver documents (BESC)
Act as backup for booking related activities handled by the export & booking desk manager

Profil / Compétences requises
Master recherché*:

You have 3-5 years of experience with Ocean Exports (vessels, containers ) and forwarding activities
You have a strong understanding of Ocean Export regulations and documentation
You are detail oriented, proactive, adaptive to change and open
You have strong planning and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel, Sharepoint
You have speak French and English fluently. Dutch is a plus
Experience ERP systems
