Location is in Brussels and requires onsite presence 5 days a week.

Role Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive test strategy and test plans, translating "user stories" and functional specifications into structured test scenarios.
Prepare and verify test data and test environments, ensuring they meet project requirements.
Conduct various types of testing, including regression, user acceptance, and system integration tests, while utilizing test management and bug tracking tools to register defects and followups.
Collaborate with both IT and nonIT partners, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
Provide detailed reports on test results and project progress to stakeholders.

Required Experience and Skills:

A minimum of 5 years in quality assurance management and testing.
Expertise in structured testing methodologies and processes such as Vmodel and Tmap.
Proficient in working with Agile Scrum environments and familiar with sprint methodologies.
Strong background in XML/XSD, JSON, and REST API testing is desirable.
Experience with test automation tools like Microsoft Test Manager; Selenium knowledge is a plus.
Demonstrated ability in writing test plans, test cases, and managing the lifecycle of software development and test design techniques.
Highly analytical and problemsolving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Technical proficiency in RUP, SQL, UML is advantageous.
