Sopra Steria is currently looking for a Senior Business Consultant to strengthen our Consulting practice in Brussels.

Your Mission:

As senior consultant, you will play a key role in designing, building and delivering high value solutions that help our clients move forward in every part of their business, from strategic planning to day-to-day operations.

We are looking for someone with:

Hands-on attitude with great leadership skills to guide a team of junior consultants and allow them to grow and develop their competencies
An interest for European Institutions with knowledge of the legislative process at EU level and how it impacts Member States
Knowledge of recent EU legislations and initiatives in the field of Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) crossborder police cooperation and Defense
Experience with interoperability and data exchanges challenges between public services at various levels (national, regional and also crosscountries among EU Member States)
An understanding of the human and cultural challenges posed by digital transformation processes with proven communication skills to be able to convey results concisely up to Clevel executives

- [Nice to have] Experience with Agile methodologies, ideally demonstrated by one or more certifications such as Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-ACP, or SAFe 4 Agilist
- [Nice to have] Experience with EU Commission methodology toolbox

Through your consulting assignments, you will:

Support the identification of strategic issues and performance gaps
Contribute to the study in different area:
ICT Governance & Management
Business process optimization & user experience

- e-government services design & interoperability

ICT impact of legislation
Develop your skills in project management to ensure the completion of the assignment on time, within budget and with the adequate level of quality.

In addition, we expect you to be actively involved in the development of our consulting practice.

In order to support your assignments and your career development, you will have the possibility to enroll to relevant trainings via the Sopra Steria academy.

Your Profile:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, computer sciences, or a related field.
Proven experience (4+ years) as a Business Consultant, IT Consultant, or similar roles, with a strong legal or business background, and a focus on European Institutions
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
You have the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in French and English, both verbally and in writing, across all levels in an organisation up to Clevel executives
You can engage with various types of stakeholders to understand their needs and you have experience in designing digital transformation programmes
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and documentation.
Attention to details to ensure high quality deliverables.
Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment.
Flexibility to travel to Paris every 2 weeks for client meetings and consultations.
Fluent level of French and English is mandatory
