Responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities

Reorganize and enhance existing technical documentation in Salesforce (customer support portal): You will be responsible for improving the quality and accessibility of our technical documentation by reorganizing content into predefined categories, ensuring proper categorization, removing duplicates, and updating previous document revisions.
Research and evaluate COTS (Commercial Off-TheShelf)

CMS (Content Management Systems) tools:

Collaborate with the TechPubs team to investigate COTS CMS, gather information on available options, and benchmark our practices against competitors to identify potential areas for improvement.

Standardize End of Life product documentation: Develop a single, comprehensive document to track all End of Life software and hardware products across the company. This will involve collecting, organizing, and editing content from multiple sources, reviewing it in Confluence, exporting it to PDF, and releasing it to our customerfacing portal.
Migrate content between authoring tools: Assist with migrating content from various authoring tools (e.g., FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, MS Word, HelpServer, or PDF) to other tools (e.g., Confluence, MadCap Flare, etc.).

Qualifications:

Your profile and qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Engineering, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
Okay with having the camera on for most meetings and calls. As we are mostly remote, we tend to use our cameras most of the time
