EIT Digital Alumni Foundation:

The Alumni Foundation creates a vibrant, active and successful EIT Digital alumni network.

The foundation organises meet-ups, maintains an active community and discussion forum, keeps track of alumni careers and supports students and alumni to get in contact with companies, public institutions and academia.

The Alumni Foundation also aims at providing guidance and mentoring for students and alumni.


The Role:


To support the growing demands of the EIT Digital Alumni network, we are looking for a motivated Community Coordinator with significant professional experience in international teams and the management of resources across multiple countries and languages.


Tasks include:


Community Management

  • Coordinate with EIT Digital Master School officers about the onboarding of newly admitted and graduating students into the alumni community
  • Scout and trace back previous graduates to enroll them in the Alumni community

Implement projects for the EIT Digital Alumni & EIT Alumni

  • Scouting and onboarding of new partnerships
  • Organisation of the EIT Alumni CONNECT
  • Support in the organisation of Board Meetings

Liaising with relevant stakeholders

  • Coordinate closely with the communications staff of EIT Digital, EIT Alumni and other EIT KICs about interesting opportunities for the Alumni Foundation and community
  • Coordinate closely with EIT Digital stakeholders regarding the logistics and schedule of events relevant to the Alumni Foundation and community

Reporting

  • Analyse data, keep track of metrics and design suitable presentations
  • Collaborate with the Board on producing the Annual Report

Managing and disseminating content

  • Edit, publish and manage content on the website (jobs, news articles, etc.)
  • Proofread, edit and format documents to align with branding guidelines
  • Support the Marketing & Communications Officer

Position-specific skills:


  • A good knowledge of written and spoken English is required
  • Experience with community building and organizational communication
  • Experience with Drupal CMS is a big plus
  • Experience working with NGOs and the EIT KICs is a big plus

Employment:

This is a full-time position. Place of employment is preferably Brussels. Employment in one of our pan-European network of Co-Location Centers can be considered. Applicant may be required for occasional travel.
