As the accountant you will report to the accounting and consolidation lead of the C&A Europe group.

The main focus of your function will be the A-Z accounting and administration of the Luxembourg-based treasury & holding entities of the C&A EU Group.

Your responsibilities at C&A:

Maintain the trial balance by accurate recording of financial transactions in the general ledger
Preparation and ontime submission of all tax returns, tax

- and VAT declarations

Preparation of the monthly management result reporting based on group instructions
Preparation of the halfyear and yearend IFRS reporting process for group consolidation purposes and the preparation of the statutory financial statements.
Support accounting and consolidation lead on other group financial topics and projects such as:
Consolidation support (e.g. intercompany reconciliations)
Coordination of the accounting of Swiss group entities

What we expect of you:

Holds at least a Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance
At lease 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment.
Good knowledge and understanding of basis accounting practices, preferably of IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP as a plus.
Understanding of complicated legal and accounting structures.
Good understanding of MS office tools (e.g. excel, ppt, word)
Experienced in working with ERP systems, knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Language skills : fluent in English an French
