In order to support the company in its transformation, the Data Office of AXA Belgium is looking for a Head of Business Intelligence (BI) Transformation.

As Head of BI Transformation, you oversee the proper functioning of the decentralised BI model ('self-service BI'), you support the business teams (decentralised BI teams) in their various challenges, and you identify opportunities for synergies and rationalisation of activities.

You are also responsible for maximising the reusability of data flows as well as supporting the transformation of business teams through the dissemination of best practices and the organisation of specific BI training.

In close collaboration with the Data Office (Strategy & Planning, Governance & Privacy, AI & Analytics), IT (architecture, delivery) and business teams (decentralised BI teams), you are responsible for:

Supporting and coaching decentralised BI teams:
Occasional support in the realisation of BI projects
Cultural change: shepherding the BI community, development of guidelines and good practices, coaching in performance management (SMART KPIs, etc.), communication and highlighting of the best achievements
Identifying synergies and streamlining activities, including:
Streamlining existing flows and maximising reuse of existing assets
Monitoring developments made by the business and their use in order to proactively identify opportunities for rationalisation and efficiency gains
Identifying common needs between business teams and implementing synergies (e.g. by defining common / harmonised concepts or KPIs)
Preparing data models in anticipation of future needs
Bringing in a 'business' perspective to the Data Office:
In collaboration with the Data Strategy & Planning and Data Architecture teams, enrichment of the Enterprise Data Warehouse to achieve maximum cross-functional reuse
Contribution to the development of a vision on the evolution of BI within AXA Belgium (tools, methodologies, operational models)
Leading BI development projects on an ad hoc basis that serve as models for decentralised BI teams: preparation of multidimensional 'cubes', preparation of selfsupporting and dynamic visuals.

Your Profile Your profile**- Language skills: bilingualism NL-EN or FR-EN is required.

Degree: university, master's level, studies oriented towards figures / data analysis.
Great business sense previous experience in data analysis and/or performance management.
Knowledge of data modelling standards (dimensional modelling, data warehouse, datamarts).
Technical knowledge making it possible to extract, manipulate and present data (SQL, PowerBI, Azure Analysis Services, other).
Strong sensitivity to user experience and finishing the work presented to internal clients.
