The Renewable energy sector of John Cockerill is one of the world leaders in the field with solutions addressing the Energy transition.

This now includes solar concentration power plants, microgrids with energy management systems and electric batteries, and hydrogen production and distribution solutions.


Context of need
John Cockerill Hydrogen, the Division responsible for Hydrogen solutions is the world leader in water electrolysis.

With the largest number of large-scale references, we are rapidly expanding our business worldwide to fulfill the ambitious goals of the many countries wanting to reach a carbon neutral economy.

This involves large investments in research and development, new manufacturing facilities and partnerships with key actors. In order to sustain its leadership position and worldwide deployment in this fast-moving market, John Cockerill Hydrogen is recruiting a

Partnerships Development Manager (M/F) to support its growth within its Partnerships Department.


Main duties

  • Lead the search of partners for our hydrogen activities worldwide including negotiations leading to partnerships/JV agreements
  • Establish market and competitive analysis to evaluate the potential in targeted countries and territories
  • Through high level contacts with country administrations, investors, large hydrogen actors,create attractive economic opportunities
  • With the rest of the Partnerships team, evaluate and build up the business cases so they mature as subsidiaries of John Cockerill Hydrogen
  • Work closely with John Cockerill legal team and other legal firms to setup contractual documents such as JV agreements

Profile

  • Master's degree in engineering in electromechanic
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a project manager in an industrial environment
  • Strong leadership & management skills; ability to balance & prioritize competing interests
  • Willingness to develop new business relationships quickly, to negotiate and to close business opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to cultivate business and personal relationships with partners
  • Ability to interact professionally and collegially with crossfunctional internal teams
  • Entrepreneurial and resultsoriented
  • Ability to travel significantly (40+%) to visit partners or potential partners, or other travel to support business needs
  • Languages: English; other languages including French are a plus
