I am a Film Practise BA (Hons) graduate as well as have experience in production and directing and assisting on several short films, being a news video editor for VOA Urdu an offshoot of the American broadcast network centred around the Asia and the Southeast Asian subcontinent region, I edited around three news pieces for them based on the heavy monsoon rains causing flooding in Karachi to a light-hearted piece about Hyderabad biryani and an look at the Afghan refugee crisis after the return of the Taliban. I also have had a work placement where I was the sound recordist on two episodes of an online comedy series called "Acting school of Excellence". I believe I am the right candidate due to my experience juggling many different roles in production whether it be as "Runner", "Assistant director", "Director", "Sound Recordist”, "Videographer”, “Editor", therefore I am a jack of all trades and can facilitate any production with a variety of ways and different facets and crafts that take place in media production.  

• VOA URDU (January -July 2022 ) : I worked for VOA Urdu (Pakistan) as a “Video Editor/Junior Creative” In which I edited news segments pertaining to the current happenings of society in the Southeast Asian Sub continent and any problems that the Asian diaspora might be facing in the west, this also entailed licensing assets, as well as booking and directing Voiceover Artists.
• “Ripple” Audio-Vision Experiment (December 2020): I was the Videographer and Director of this experimental piece about the beauty and intricacy of nature that is missed in our daily mundane life. 
•  "bef0re" Short Film (February - August 2021) : I Wrote, Directed and Produced a 15 minute science fiction short film (bef0re), about two code programmers tasked to fix a faulty time machine that is causing time loops. as it was an indie film i took care of scheduling, location permits, budgeting, Call sheets; as well as create director treatments and Presentations using InDesign and PowerPoint. I also spearheaded the promotion of the film and set up a Kickstarter fund, publicising it across all social media platforms, publishing posters and notifying people interested with the perks they will be provided because of their support of the film, which turned out to be successful.
• Sound Recordist for an Online Comedy Series (January 2020): I recorded sound and was the sound engineer for two episodes of the online comedy series called “Bilal Zafar's Acting School of Excellence”, we covered the two episodes in one day. 
• “All by One's self ” Short Film (March 2019):  I was the Director and Videographer for this piece about following a journey of man who is alone, me and the actor improvised everything. 

• Film Practise BA (Hons) Degree: This was the undergraduate course that I undertook, which is a very practical course that encourages experimentation with the craft of filmmaking, designing a curriculum in which the students learn about making film not by theory but by actually making films and being part of several productions. 
• Work Placement On a short Documentary: I worked on indie filmmaker; Isabella Walton's short documentary about the unequal treatment of girls with ADHD, CALLED “The Girls with Potential”. I served as a Sound Recordist and on some days as First Camera Assistant. 
• Assistant Director on Short Film “Last Dance”: I was an assistant Director for Iranian indie filmmaker Alireza's short film about a man taking a stroll through a park, whist haunted by his dead lover's thoughts and memories.
