Description: Concepts is an application that ensures that Citibank employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company's Standards of Conduct. It plays an essential role in helping to preserve the integrity and reputation of the bank.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding Functional Requirement document and designing the solution.
• Understanding the existing application and analyzing the code.
• Development of PLSQL blocks for the new enhancements.
• Preparation of DB scripts for the deployment.
• Extensively worked on fixing defects and handling new change requests.
• Involved in performance tuning.

Project Name 2: ODS (IBM India Pvt. Ltd.)

Client: Telefonica UK Limited (May 2017 – July 2018)

Description: Telefonica UK Limited (O2) is a telecommunications services provider in the United Kingdom, 

Owned by the Spanish multinational Telefonica. It is the second-largest mobile telecommunications provider 

in the United Kingdomafter EE Limited, and is headquartered in Slough.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the existing module and Analysis of the specifications provided by the business.
• Involved in client discussions for resolving the issues.
• Development of Unix scripts to deliver the reports as per requirement.
• Extensively worked on fixing defects and handling new change requests.
• Created Tables, Views, Constraints, Index, Synonyms, Sequences and Oracle Materialized Views.
• Created the index for increasing the performance of data conversion process

Project Name 1: BIADM(IBM India Pvt. Ltd.)

Client: IDEA CELLULAR LTD (November 2014 – April 2017)

Domain: Telecom

Role: BI Developer (Oracle Database)

Description: The implementation of this project at IDEA Cellular Limited was with a vision of enabling easy access to data for effective business decision-making through BI tools. The key benefits to business from this project, includes flexibility in analyzing subscriber behavior and capability to enhance revenue. The BI tables and Reports help business to analyze trends with respect to Geography and time in various Business Areas and Subareas, and further make data-driven decisions to enhance the business. In BI-ADM we are processing large amount of transactional data (OLTP) from different source systems. After processing source data at ETL layer using IBM Data Stage v11.3, loads it into data warehouse maintaining historical and current data for all IDEA subscribers. After that as per business logic we prepare Aggregate tables using SQL and Shell scripting. This data is presented to the Business. On top of this data reports are generated using IBM Cognos, which help client to take major business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Creating source to target mapping documents from staging area to Data Warehouse and from Data Warehouse to various Data Marts.
• Involved in development of various aggregate tables from scratch using SQL and ETL process.
• Integrating data from several different legacy sources and loaded it to the aggregate tables.
• Using SQL DBX to develop various aggregates for meeting the business requirement.
• Creating Unix scripts for different applications that is invoked to populate data in tables.
• Working with Business Analysts to streamline any data issues which involves Unit Testing of all the worksheets.
• Performing Unit Testing, Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for every report and enhancement.
• Performing Tuning of the programs to increase the processing efficiency.
• Implementing enhancements to the current Unix scripts based on the new requirements.
• Troubleshooting, resolving and escalating data related issues and validating data to improve data quality.
• To co-ordinate with source team on availability of source data and to ensure that it is provided   with proper format.
• Handling change requests and providing support/maintenance for deployed projects
