Carolina Bártolo

My name is Carolina Bártolo. I am graduated in Social and Cultural Communication and during my bachelor’s degree, I had the opportunity to live 9 months abroad, in Barcelona (Spain). I also have a Post-graduation degree in Marketing Management. I am currently looking for a new challenge.

As a team member, I have the ability to compromise, show respect to others and listen to the needs of my teammates. 
As an individual, I am committed, detail oriented, results-driven, and open minded to constructive criticism.

As a result of have been working, playing different roles, and learning from truly inspiring leaders, during the past 6 years, I have vast experience in Marketing and Communication. I have already worked for different industries, such as two Wholesalers of Home Timber & DIY solutions, one IT Company, one Supermarket Chain, and most recently in Brussels, in two Associations: one focused in Trade Promotion and another one in Health Management.

For example, at Trade Promotion Europe, I took part in the Association’s rebranding process. Thus, I had the opportunity not only to create the communication strategy, and the branding materials, from scratch (such as the project time plan, corporate presentations, flyers, social media and website’s content, and so on), but also to work on its implementation. On the other hand, at EHMA, the European Health Management Association, I created the communication strategy for this year, for the Annual Conference, and managed its social media channels.

Previously, at Deli Home, by had being the founder of the Marketing and Communications' Department, I had the chance to lead and design the marketing strategy, in different languages, which made me a more hands-on and experienced professional with an overall perspective. Furthermore, I created the first branding materials (such as the catalogues, flyers, videos and the website). Consequently, it enabled me to acquire new digital skills, as I worked with some Adobe Tools (InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere); with different types of websites’ backoffice management (such as WordPress and Drupal); email marketing platforms (such as HubSpot and MailChimp); and social media management for different regions.
Besides that, I also had the chance to organise different corporate events, for more than 300 people in two countries, as well as managed different providers and suppliers, ensuring the best possible experience for all people involved in.
