Fernando Martinez

Prof. Dr. Fernando J F Martinez is a renowned Spanish medical oncologist with over 35 years of professional experience in cancer diagnosis and treatment. Until February 2025, he was the Medical Director of the VinMec Cancer Centre. He obtained his Fellowship in Internal Medicine at the University Hospital of São Paulo and his Fellowship in Oncology at the AC Camargo Cancer Centre in São Paulo, Brazil, a second Fellowship in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein Medical Centre in Philadelphia, and a second Fellowship in Medical Oncology/Haematology at Thomas Jefferson University. 

He obtained his PhD in a joint co-tutelage program with the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research and the Cancer Chemotherapy Foundation at Mount Sinai in New York.

Prof. Dr. Fernando J F Martinez has held several leadership positions in the field of Oncology, such as:
