Ilaria Cavallini

I am Ilaria, 32 years old from Italy. I lived and worked abroad in the UK, France and Germany and I have over twelve years experience as a language tutor, teaching English and Italian (beginners to advanced) and German and French (beginners only). I delivered both small groups and one-to-one lessons to young learners, teenagers and adults. At the beginning I have started teaching almost by chance, but then I came to realize that I was in love with my job because I was learning so much from my students. I love to teach because, in the first place, I am a passionate learner.

I am a qualified CELTA teacher with a binational Bachelor degree in German and Italian studies (major) and English studies (minor). I am a very emphatic and curious person who love to be around people of all ages and nationalities and actively engage with them. Flexibility and creativity are skills that describe very well my personality. I love to challenge myself and face novelty with enthusiasm. I also place great value in giving and receiving feedback, to try to always get better at whatever I am doing. I am a great communicator and active listener.
