Over Nathalie Chieveley-Williams:
I am a Brazilian/English student currently living between London and Antwerp while completing my undergraduate degree in Architectural & Interdisciplinary Studies BSc at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. As an interdisciplinary programme, my current degree has allowed me to pursue architectural studies alongside Fine Arts, History of Art, Sociology, Urban Studies, and Anthropology. As a result, I have gained a multifaceted skill set that allows me to be an adaptable, self-motivated, resourceful and a creative asset to design-oriented workplaces.
Additionally, having grown up in various places including Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Antwerp, Belgium, and New York, USA, I have gained a global outlook that I apply to all my professional endeavours. I am eager to learn, detail-oriented, highly organised, and a dynamic team player.
Ervaring
My work experience includes working for Antwerp-based Diamond company “Belodiam BVBA” as a trade show booth assistant and campaigner where I was responsible for set-up, inventory check-up, showcasing design, sending purchase invoices and consignment verifications. I also maintained a brand presence on social media and updated client cards. I have also interned at Het Vindinrijk, an Antwerp-based non-profit design firm helping organisations implement a circular economy and sustainable design in their product. At the company, my duties included designing and developing upcycling concepts based on customer input using 3D design software SketchUp, creating products with different materials and being responsible for website design and social media marketing.
Opleiding
I am currently a second-year undergraduate student studying Architectural & Interdisciplinary Studies BSc at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. My modules include architectural history, architectural research and representation, and design & creative practice where we develop our own design-based practices.
