A voracious, autodidact seeker of knowledge, Stijn Muskala embodies a diverse fusion of academic prowess, professional achievement and countless passions. Educational Odyssey

A quest for interdisciplinary enlightenment characterizes Stijn's academic journey. He acquired a Master of Science in Criminological Sciences. His academic pursuits further led him to attain a Master's in Philosophy. Finally, he augmented his intellectual arsenal with a Master's degree in Sociology. Stijn's academic fervor extended beyond traditional boundaries as he obtained certificates in Philosophy of Science and Business Management. Moreover, he had the privilege of engaging in enriching internship experiences that have shaped my skills and perspectives. Alongside a rewarding internship at the Royal Academy of Brasschaat another significant milestone in my career occurred during my second internship at the Ghent Public Prosecution Service.

Professional Journey

Stijn Muskala's professional journey is a testament to his diverse skill set and adaptability, spanning various roles and industries over the years.

In 2011 - 2012, Stijn commenced his career at the environmental company WELL. Here, he served as a planning/policy coordinator, showcasing his ability to manage multifaceted tasks efficiently. Subsequently, Stijn's career trajectory took a significant turn as he delved into scientific research. From 2014 to 2016, he served as a Scientific Researcher at the Catholic University Leuven, contributing to groundbreaking projects at the Belgian Cybercrime Center. His responsibilities included leading research initiatives on the Belgian Cost of Cybercrime, guiding Master's theses and conducting statistical analysis.

In the following years, Stijn continued to broaden his horizons. From 2016 to 2018, he assumed the role of Assistant Director at KC-Projects, where he spearheaded the Coordination, Management and Organisations Department, showcasing his leadership and organizational prowess.

Moving forward, Stijn transitioned into academia, serving as a Lecturer at Thomas More Graduate School from 2018 to 2019. Here, he shared his expertise in research methodology, statistics and human sciences. 

In 2019, Stijn diversified his teaching portfolio by taking on roles such as a Docent at KoHo Hamme, where he taught philosophy, ethics and philosophy of science. Additionally, he ventured into vocational education, teaching warehouse labor at BuSO SJABI Puurs, demonstrating his versatility in educational settings. Furthermore, from January to June 2020, Stijn served as a Docent at PTS Boom, where he held a teaching position in Dutch and History.

Since 2016, Stijn Muskala has been an integral part of the Tutoring Agency, where he has played a pivotal role in shaping the academic journeys of numerous students through extracurricular tutoring. He has provided guidance and mentorship to students in subjects ranging from philosophy, sociology and criminology to statistics, quantitative and qualitative research methodology and psychology. He actively assists students with their Bachelor's and Master's dissertations.
