Yeliz Kartal Brackman

Former diplomat, Ivy League graduate, entrepreneur, lifetime learner 

Yeliz Kartal Brackman is a Political Scientist and holds a Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia University in New York City.

Ms. Kartal Brackman worked for the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs from December 2008 until August 2014. She worked at the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and she was involved in planning the press conferences for the Minister and the spokesperson. She served as a liaison between the media correspondents and the spokesperson. In October 2011, she was appointed to the Turkish Embassy in Pristina, Kosovo, as Third Secretary, responsible for Cultural, Consular, and Educational Affairs.

Later, she worked as a Commercial and Contract Manager at the Limak Kosovo International airport in Pristina, Kosovo. During her time there, the airport revenues and the total passenger number increased by 24%.

Lastly, after pursuing her Master's degree at Columbia University, she started her own business in Brooklyn, NY. She listed her brand of hand sanitizer in the FDA database. During this process, she obtained excellent know-how about the OTC and prescribed drug regulations in the USA, products development, manufacturing, and supply chain. She would like to apply this know-how in a European setting. 

I have a Master of International Affairs degree from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) of Columbia University. Thanks to my latest initiative in New York, I have obtained excellent know-how about the FDA regulations in the USA. For two years, I excelled in OTC-drug product development, manufacturing, marketing, and supply chain practices, including but not limited to logistics.
