- Als Software Engineer Business Intelligence ga je in overleg met onze interne partners en directies om hun noden te verzamelen voor het bouwen van rapporten, cockpits en dashboards.
- Je bent ook bij het verdere gehele proces betrokken. Dat betekent van het analyseren van datanoden tot het presenteren van de rapporten . Hierin werk je nauw samen met verschillende stakeholders zoals analisten, developers, projectmanagers en eindgebruikers.
- Je stelt testscenarios op en levert de nodige steun voor de validering van de producten.
- Je documenteert de producten en leidt de eindgebruikers op zodat ze zich ermee vertrouwd voelen.
- Je neemt deel aan de Business Intelligence-ombudswerking waarin je op basis van incidenten technische/functionele problemen analyseert en corrigerende acties uitvoert.
- Kennis en ervaring Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in bv. informatiemanagement of een andere data-gedreven studie, of hebt gelijkwaardige ervaring. Kennis van Power BI en/of Tableau en SQL is een must. Kennis van SAP BO is welkom maar geen harde vereiste.
- Communicatief Je bent communicatief ingesteld, bent een echte teamspeler, en legt vlot contact. Je capteert vlot noden bij je eindgebruikers en overlegt regelmatig. Je zoekt actief naar de beste oplossing.
- Analytisch en conceptueel Je haalt vlot de te behandelen delen uit een complex gegeven en kan oorzaak en gevolg onderscheiden. Daarnaast heb je snel inzicht in complexe kwesties en plaats je de zaken in een breder perspectief.
- Kwaliteit Je hebt een end-to-end mentaliteit en gaat steeds voor de hoogste kwaliteit in wat je oplevert. Je denkt vanuit oplossingen en bewaakt de balans tussen de wensen van je eindgebruikers en optimalisaties die tijdens het proces kunnen opduiken.
- Talen Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels, zodat je met al je collegas en stakeholders goed kan samenwerken.
