Reimagine What's Possible? Functieomschrijving For our team we are looking for a customer-oriented Field MRI Technician, based in Zolder, Belgium.

As a Field MRI Technician, you will be responsible for transporting liquid helium dewars and/or liquid nitrogen dewars from the MRI service centers to the MRI customer locations (mostly hospitals).
At the locations, you refill the MRI magnets with cryogens. After a thorough training programme, you will carry out these activities on your own and without supervision.

The position of Field MRI Technician is a responsible job where you have full responsibility for very expensive equipment owned by the client. You are used to working in a disciplined and accurate manner. Safety is your number 1 priority, and you understand the importance of customer focus in this position.
Your main tasks include:

• Transport of liquid helium containers through Europe
• Loading of the truck with helium canisters and gas cylinders and loading of the goods in accordance with the applicable GGVS/ADR
• After an intensive training period, you will fill independently NMRI units in hospitals according to the manufacturers' instruction.
• Handling of the necessary technical equipment
• Cryogenic filling of helium in dewars, bottles and trailers, taking into account safety requirements
• Responsibility for your own administration: managing filling reports, registering working hours and cost centers, observing driving and rest times
  

In this role, you will be responsible for the use and management of:

• a fully equipped MRI °Cold Service truck
• Helium dewars (60L/100L/120L/250 l/500l/1000L)
• Transfill tools
• Alu gas cylinder
• Oxygen measuring equipment
• Safety masks

Profiel To perform this function successfully, you will need:

• a completed technical education with several years of professional experience
• Class CE driver's license and associated driving experience
• ADR certificate desirable
• Code 95 on driving license desirable
• Good way to express oneself in the English language, both spoken and written, another European language is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, as well as technical affinity
• Confident and friendly appearance with our customers
• High flexibility to take over day and evening trips and fit them into the waiting schedule Independence, resilience and willingness to perform physical work
• Willingness to travel within Europe
