We are VS, a boutique company specialized in financial consulting with a focus on start-ups and scale-ups that do not have the capacity to hire a CFO full time but still need high level expertise to face problematics such as cash management, accounting, financial reporting, ERP integration, fund raising or debt restructuring.

We support our customers for the long term, by planning for the future, reinforcing the finance team, and increasing efficiency and bottom-line profit.

In order to reinforce our consulting team in Brussels, we are looking for a Business Controlling Consultant.

You will be part of VS Consulting finance team that is working closely with CEO's of start-ups and scale-ups to address critical challenges and transform finance process.

Typical projects that you will be working on include:

Coordinating with the accounting firm for an accurate periodic closing for our clients
Preparation of monthly reporting/dashboard and variance analysis (margin, opex, capex, cashflow) for our clients
Monthly review of financial dashboard with our clients
Implement and maintain the budget/forecast cycle at our clients according to their needs
Assisting our clients in ad hoc projects:

Ø Implementation of new ERP and business process

Ø Internal controlling

Ø Board meeting preparation

Ø Fund raising

Be the SPOC between our clients and VS team for all additional requests

Who we look for:

University degree in Economics/Finance/Business or equivalent with minimum 13 years relevant experience in Controlling/Finance
You possess a welldeveloped financial expertise: P&L and balance sheet knowledge, use of dedicated software (Excel,), business case & value simulation tools.
You express yourself fluently in French and English and have a flair for communication and interaction with people
Accurate, organized and flexible, you are selfsufficient
Team player, able to work effectively with all stakeholders (internal and external)
First experience as junior consultant in a consulting firm is appreciated
