Senior Buyer Public Procurement

• As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for the preparation, execution and followup of a number of large infrastructure projects and other purchases in accordance with the Public Procurement Act_.

The Assignment

This means, among other things, that:

• You analyse the internal customer's request and compile the specifications based on questions and input from the users;
• You determine the selection and award criteria and are responsible for the purchasetechnical input, always in consultation;
• You start the tendering process based on the chosen procedure;
• You evaluate the quotations in consultation with the users and the internal customers;
• You negotiate the best conditions with the suppliers;
• You draw up the award report in consultation with the users and internal customers;
• You closely monitor the changes in the public procurement legislation;
• You will be part of the public procurement team and as a senoir buyer you will take on the role of mentor and coach of the other team members.

Required knowledge and skills

• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, more specifically in the domain 'Works' such as: Construction & infrastructure (demolition, groundworks & Relining/Sewerage works), Interior works and Technical works (electricity, HVAC, Fire protection, Sanitary, Lighting).
• You are familiar with the most common public market procedures and have a solid knowledge of public procurement and are familiar with EPC methodology.
• You are driven by achieving results and believe in our credo "under promise and overdeliver".
• You can find a good balance between diplomacy and assertiveness.
• You are resultoriented and feel like a fish in water in a team.

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 24 months


Pay:
€500,00 - €550,00 per day
